Led by trained facilitators, these peer-focused sessions help caregivers process challenges, build emotional resilience, and strengthen community across our hospice, palliative, and home health teams. They’re a powerful way to reduce burnout, boost well-being, and remind caregivers they’re never alone.

Caregiver support groups are open to all Ascend Health team members involved in patient care. Whether you work in hospice, palliative care, or home health, you’re welcome to join. The groups are inclusive and open to team members at any stage in their caregiving journey.
Groups typically meet every two to four weeks, depending on location and team needs. Virtual options are also available to ensure everyone can participate. Attendance is always optional. Join when it feels right for you.
Your first session is a relaxed, no-pressure space to listen, share if you’d like, and get a feel for the group. There’s no requirement to speak – just bring yourself. You’ll be welcomed by peers and guided by a trained facilitator who understands the caregiver experience.
